What is ICAR AIEEA?

The ICAR All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) is conducted to shortlist aspirants for admission in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in agriculture and allied sciences. The exam is conducted to fill 15% of seats in Bachelor’s degree programmes. Apart from that, on the basis of AIEEA UG aspirants are awarded “National Talent Scholarships in agriculture & allied science subjects (other than veterinary science) in agricultural universities and 15% seats in dairy technology at NDRI Karnal”, informs the official website.

ICAR AIEEA 2020 exam dates have not been declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Due to COVID-19 pandemic, ICAR AIEEA 2020 has been postponed for both UG and PG course admissions. As per the earlier shared dates, ICAR AIEEA (All India Entrance Examination for Admission) was to be conducted on June 1, 2020. NTA will conduct ICAR AIEEA exam as a computer-based test (CBT). ICAR AIEEA 2020 application form were available from March 1, onwards. Last year, ICAR AIEEA exam was given by 2,36,931 candidates for UG course admissions, 31,486 for PG course admissions and 8,374 appeared for AICE-JRF/SRF (PGS).

ELIGIBILITY

Applying candidates must take note that anyone found ineligible at any stage of the admission procedure will not be considered for further selection. Go through the eligibility conditions for ICAR AIEEA UG 2020 below.

  • Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 16 years to be eligible.
  • Nationality: The nationality of the applying candidate should be Indian only.
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed 10+2 education from CBSE or any other recognised board in English medium with at least any three Science subjects out of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

 The minimum qualifying marks required in class 12th exam to be eligible for the admission process are as follows.
